Website Terms of Use
Last updated: 1 July 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of nuaxia’s public website, including our webpages, blog, alert subscription pages, public enquiry forms and login pages.
They also contain technical and security rules applying when you access a nuaxia portal or app.
Separate terms apply to:
-
organisations commissioning or using nuaxia services;
-
authorised users accessing services on behalf of a Client;
-
healthcare professionals, patients and other individuals taking part in surveys, interviews, educational activities or other engagements; and
-
content and services made available through a nuaxia portal or app where separate terms are stated to apply.
Where separate terms apply, those terms govern the relevant service, activity or authenticated content. These Website Terms continue to govern your general and technical use of the website, portal or app.
By using the website, portal or app, you agree to comply with these terms.
2. Who we are
The website is operated by nuaxia Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 10091312.
Our registered office is:

United Kingdom
You can contact us at legal@nuaxia.com.
3. Accessing the website
We make the public website available free of charge.
We may change, update, suspend or withdraw any part of the website where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, operational or legal reasons.
We do not guarantee that the website, portal, app or any particular content or feature will always be available or uninterrupted.
You are responsible for ensuring that your equipment, software and internet connection are suitable for accessing the website, portal or app.
4. Accounts and login details
Some areas of the website, portals or apps may require an account or individual login credentials.
Client users may be issued login credentials to access services on behalf of their organisation. The Client Framework Terms will govern the services, information and content accessed through those credentials.
You must:
-
provide accurate information when creating or using an account;
-
keep your login details confidential;
-
not allow another person to use login credentials issued specifically to you;
-
notify us promptly if you believe your account or login details have been compromised; and
-
comply with any additional terms applying to the relevant portal, app or service.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account where that activity results from your failure to keep your login details secure.
We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe that an account has been compromised, misused or used in breach of applicable terms.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the website, portals and apps only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
-
use them in a way that breaches any applicable law or regulation;
-
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, an account, a server, database or connected system;
-
introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material;
-
interfere with the proper operation or security of the website, portal or app;
-
carry out denial-of-service activity;
-
probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the website, portal or app without our written permission;
-
use automated systems to scrape, extract or systematically collect content or data without our written permission;
-
impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, qualifications or authority;
-
use website forms to transmit unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory or otherwise harmful material;
-
use website forms to send unsolicited advertising, promotional messages or spam; or
-
reproduce or commercially exploit the website or its content except as expressly permitted by these terms.
We may suspend or block access where we reasonably believe these rules have been breached.
6. Website content
Website and blog content is provided for general information only.
Although we take reasonable care in preparing content, we do not guarantee that all content will always be complete, current or free from error.
You should obtain appropriate professional advice before acting or deciding not to act on information published on the website where that information is important to your circumstances.
7. No personal medical advice
The website does not provide personal medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Healthcare-related content is intended for general informational or professional educational purposes. It is not a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional who understands an individual patient’s circumstances.
Healthcare professionals remain responsible for exercising their own professional judgement and complying with applicable clinical, ethical and regulatory requirements.
If you require medical advice, you should contact an appropriate healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact the relevant emergency services.
8. Alerts and communications
You may be able to subscribe to news, educational or other alerts through the website, a portal or a nuaxia app.
The subscription process will explain:
-
the communications you are requesting;
-
how we will use your information; and
-
how you can withdraw your subscription.
Alerts and related materials may be provided through email, the website, nuaxia portals, nuaxia apps or nuaxia social-media accounts.
You can unsubscribe from email alerts at any time using the unsubscribe facility included in the relevant communication or by contacting us.
Subscribing to alerts does not guarantee that alerts will be issued at any particular frequency or that the service will always remain available.
Accepting these Website Terms does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive optional marketing or alert communications.
Operational messages relating to an account, subscription request, security issue or service you have requested may still be sent where necessary.
9. Content, alerts and educational materials
nuaxia may publish or distribute articles, alerts, summaries, educational materials and other content through its website, email communications, social-media accounts, portals or apps.
Some content may be publicly available, while other content may require registration or sign-in. The fact that content requires sign-in does not necessarily mean that it is confidential. Any content specifically identified as confidential or subject to separate restrictions must be used in accordance with those restrictions.
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content—including its text, design, graphics, branding, databases, software and underlying materials—are owned by or licensed to nuaxia.
You may:
-
view nuaxia content for your personal or legitimate professional use;
-
share links to content that nuaxia has made publicly available;
-
forward nuaxia alerts or communications in the ordinary course, unless the communication states that it is confidential or intended only for the recipient;
-
use standard sharing functions provided by the relevant website, app, email service or social-media platform; and
-
quote reasonable extracts, provided that the quotation is accurate and nuaxia is appropriately acknowledged as the source.
Unless we have given prior written permission, you must not:
-
reproduce or republish a substantial part of nuaxia content;
-
copy complete articles, reports, alerts, graphics or other materials onto another website, database or publication;
-
sell, license or commercially redistribute nuaxia content;
-
systematically scrape, extract or collect nuaxia content;
-
use nuaxia content to create or support a competing publication, database, alert service or commercial product;
-
remove or alter nuaxia branding, copyright notices or attribution;
-
edit content in a way that is misleading or changes its meaning; or
-
use nuaxia content or branding in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation where none exists.
You may link to publicly available pages provided that the link is lawful, fair and does not suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist.
Separate terms may apply to Client reports, research results, survey materials, commissioned deliverables or content specifically marked as confidential.
10. Contact and enquiry forms
You may use public contact and enquiry forms for their stated purpose.
You must provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and must not impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority to act on behalf of an organisation.
Please do not include patient-identifiable, confidential medical or other sensitive personal information in a general website enquiry.
Information requested as part of a nuaxia survey or other activity should be provided only through the designated survey or activity process.
11. Privacy and cookies
Our collection and use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Notice.
Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Notice and, where applicable, through our cookie preference controls.
The Privacy Notice and Cookie Notice provide information about data use; they do not form part of these contractual Website Terms unless expressly stated otherwise.
12. Third-party websites and services
The website, portals, apps or communications may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.
We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their availability, security, content or privacy practices.
The inclusion of a link does not necessarily mean that we endorse the third party or its products or services.
You should review the terms and privacy information applying to any third-party service you use.
13. Responsibility for loss
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
If you are using the website as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Because the public website is provided free of charge, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you began using the website.
If you use the website for business purposes, we will not be responsible for:
-
loss of profit, revenue, business or anticipated savings;
-
loss of business opportunity or goodwill; or
-
indirect or consequential loss.
We are not responsible for loss caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, provided that we have taken reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances.
Any liability arising from paid services, Client services, participation in an engagement or substantive portal or app use will be governed by the terms applying to that particular service.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the website at any time.
We may suspend, restrict or terminate access where:
-
you breach these terms;
-
we reasonably believe that your use creates a security, legal or operational risk;
-
an account appears to have been compromised;
-
we are required to do so by law; or
-
the relevant website, portal, app or service is discontinued.
Termination of website access does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, portals, apps, our services, the law or our operating practices.
The current version will be published on the website with the date of the latest update.
Changes will apply from the stated effective date. Changes will not retrospectively alter rights or obligations relating to a paid service or an existing engagement where separate agreed terms apply.
16. General provisions
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
A delay in enforcing these terms does not prevent either party from enforcing them later.
These terms do not give rights to any person other than you and nuaxia under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by English law.
If you are using the website as a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory protections provided by the law of the country in which you live.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that a consumer may bring proceedings in another court where applicable law permits.
